Melvin Lars: President and CEO of Brighter Futures. He is a NCLB/HQ monitor for the Michigan Department of Education and a former classroom teacher, coach, principal, professional athlete, and sportscaster. He has worked and effectuated positive, effective quality of life changes for students and parents in five (5) large urban school districts for thirty (30) years, one of specific note; George Washington H. S. Los, Angeles Unified Schools; with the dynamic Dr. George Mckenna III of the "George Mckenna Story" which aired in 1986 and 1989. Lars is a certified parenting and cultural diversity trainer and a nationally certified (Harvard University) violence prevention trainer of trainers.
